Harry and Kate to the Rescue

What a relief, to see Harry at Kate’s side this week for the annual Anzac Day service at Westminster Abbey. His surprise appearance — which royal insiders said was previously unannounced due to the imminent arrival of Baby Sussex — served as a kind of visual exhale.

With all of the rumors of a rift among the Fab Four, and on the heels of that very tense Easter Sunday appearance, Kate and Harry smiling in lockstep was a welcome show of solidarity. (As was this adorable pic of Harry looking at Kate, posted on Kensington Palace’s Instagram.) A lot has happened in the royal ranks over the past year, and tension, whatever the source, is nearly unavoidable. But these two, who have always appeared to get along famously, seem determined to keep the next generation together, come hell or high water.

Let’s all bask in these throwback pics of Harry making Kate laugh. May I suggest we all bookmark this page for reassurance the next time royal drama gets the better of us?
