So Many (Really Fab!) Oscar Gowns
Y’all, the red carpet fashion at the Academy Awards was GOOD! Surprisingly good. The stars seemed willing to take risks, embracing ensembles that were not just beautiful (this is the Oscars, after all!) but also interesting and, in many cases, unexpected. We love to see it!
Rihanna showed off her bump in a sexy, sheer Alaïa dress, while Michelle Yeoh made history in a white feathery dream by Dior (with a gorg, subtle, sparkly headband). Lady Gaga walked the carpet in a backside-baring, fresh-from-the-runway Versace dress. And how about Halle Berry’s hip-high slit on a gown by Tamara Ralph? Shout-out to the gents for flexing a bit of fashion, too, including Paul Mescal in flared-leg trousers by Gucci.
