Your Thoughts: Will and Kate Host a Reception at Buckingham Palace

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge hosted their first reception at Buckingham Palace Monday evening as part of the UK-Africa Investment Summit at the request of the Queen. Will gave a very brief, but personal speech to the gathered guests, which included Prime Minister Boris Johnson and heads of 21 African nations. “The African continent holds a very special place in my heart,” he said. “It is the place my father took my brother and me shortly after our mother died.
