The Duchess of Cambridge made a surprise appearance in Birmingham on Tuesday, launching a four-stop, 24-hour tour of the United Kingdom as part of her early childhood education push. The tour includes introducing a survey, with the hashtag #5BigQuestions, of kids under the age of five. “My ambition is to provide a lasting change for generations to come,” Kate said in a statement. UPDATE: On Wednesday, she visited Cardiff and Surrey, too. More on those stops in this Hello Magazine story.

What do you think of Kate’s unannounced push, her jaunty blouse and that leopard print skirt? Let’s discuss in the comments!
